Showing Compassion for Our Members, AllSouth AllStar Lisa

This month’s AllSouth AllStar Lisa has many positive attributes.  However, the one that stands out the most is her ability to show compassion for everyone she meets. "Be the change you want to see in the world," is her favorite quote, and she demonstrates this with her easy-going, calm, and gentle nature when she interacts with our members and team members. This is why Lisa is our featured AllSouth AllStar.

Lisa started her career with us over 12 years ago as a teller. When she first started, Lisa was determined to learn the job and was quickly promoted to branch teller trainer. As a teller trainer, she trained and prepared new tellers just getting started with AllSouth. This role allowed Lisa to hone her skills and prepare for her current position as a vault teller.

When you bank with us, you’re getting more, and the reason you’re getting more is because of our AllSouth team and team members like Lisa. Our goal is to make banking and finances easier. Lisa is just one example of striving to fulfill that goal through helping our members with their banking needs to include making deposits, answering their questions, or opening accounts.

She enjoys serving our members and showing compassion for them as she strives to find the best possible solution for their financial needs and goals. She never meets a stranger, welcoming members with warm greetings and compassion. She is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. “Our members are like family. I feel their joys and sorrows, and I only want the best for them. I have prayed, cried, celebrated, and laughed with them throughout my career because of the relationships I’ve developed,” said Lisa. She builds excellent rapport with our members, many of them come to the branch to talk to Lisa. “Her ability to remember members’ names, easy-going personality and gentle nature make it easy for members to gravitate toward her,” said Kim, her supervisor.

In addition to her compassionate nature, she is a tireless worker. She is dependable, conscientious, and professional. She is a team player. Whether making deposits or opening accounts, Lisa will happily step in to assist her team wherever she’s needed. "Lisa is an excellent employee to work with. She strives each day to help each member in any way she possibly can, always going out of her way. Lisa is very reliable and knowledgeable. She has the most patience of anyone and is super sweet. Lisa is such an outstanding employee and a valuable asset to our branch and AllSouth,” said Bryan, head teller.

“I love my job at AllSouth. It’s exciting to be recognized for something I enjoy doing daily. It has been a humbling experience for me,” said Lisa.

When Lisa is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband. She loves crossword puzzles and is addicted to audiobooks. Lisa is the proud mother of two, one of which is of a Marine. One of her favorite places to visit is Parris Island, the Marine Corps training location. She also has two grandchildren and two fur babies.
