This year, we are sponsoring a team, “AllSouth Crusaders for the Cure”, and we want you to join us! You don’t have to be an AllSouth member to be on our team- anyone is welcome. Many of us have been impacted by breast cancer as a survivor or as a supporter of a survivor. AllSouth’s team member, Perceffenesse “Cep" was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 41. “During my surgical and recovery process, I benefited tremendously from funds raised by the previous Walk for Life events,” said Cep. "I’m grateful for the community support, and I’m proud to be able to use my journey to help others who have faced or are facing the same challenge.”
For over 29 years, thousands of donors have helped raise more than $10 million to fund innovative equipment and resources for Prisma Health Breast Center through Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon, 5K + 10K.
Proceeds from the 2018 event raised more than $683,000, including in-kind donations, which stay right here in the community and directly benefit Prisma Health Breast Center. Last year, AllSouth was able to raise over $5,100 through registrations, our Shoeprint Campaign, and donations to help the cause.
We are happy to support our breast cancer survivor teammates, survivors in our community, and those who continue to fight this disease.
