AllSouth Employee Volunteer Program

At AllSouth, we're dedicated to making a difference in the communities we serve and improving the quality of life for our neighbors. In 2019, we established an Employee Volunteer Program to provide opportunities for our employees to support and give back to the community. The volunteer program offers employees paid time specifically for volunteering. We partner with charities and non-profits in our local communities, selecting areas where the need is greatest and where we can make the most significant impact.

Since the program's start, our employees have provided over 360 hours of community service. Here are some of the organizations we've had the opportunity to serve:

• Harvest Hope Food Bank - Our team contributed over 132 volunteer hours packaging and sorting food. Additionally, we prepared over 3,000 meals for children facing food insecurity.
  
  
• Habitat for Humanity ReStores - Team members provided over 50 hours of service at three separate ReStore locations in the Midlands, helping sort and price items, stock shelves, organize furniture, unload donations, and more.
  
  
• Meals on Wheels (Senior Resources) - Our team offered 36 volunteer hours at three Senior Resources locations throughout Richland County, spending time packaging meals to be delivered to senior citizens in need throughout the community.
  
  
• Transitions - Team members spent volunteer hours serving over 350 hot meals to people struggling with homelessness in the downtown Columbia area.

• Midlands Orphan Relief - Our team served over 50 hours sorting and packing "care kits" filled with two weeks' worth of clothing, shoes, new socks and underwear, pajamas, and toiletries for children at critical times in their lives.  

We have seen our team members go above and beyond to lend a helping hand through our Employee Volunteer Program. Not only is it a great way to make a difference in our communities, but it's also an excellent opportunity for our team to further connect as they work together to serve those who need it most. We are excited to see what volunteer opportunities the future brings as we continue our dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
