AllSouth originally began in 1960 as Fort Jackson Federal Credit Union. Our foundation was built on supporting the military, and because of this, it continues to be one of the main focuses of our community giving. One way we accomplish this is by hosting our annual Soldiers and Vets Charity Golf Tournament.
We started the tournament in 1996 to celebrate our military roots and raise funds for organizations in the Midlands and throughout South Carolina supporting our active servicemen and women, veterans, and their families. Since it began, we have raised over $350,000 for organizations like:
- USO
- PAALS
- Honor Flight
- Friends of Fisher House
- Big Red Barn Retreat
- Hidden Wounds
- Transitions Homeless Center
Through sponsorships and donations from local businesses, individuals, and other organizations, we're able to raise both awareness and funds for these important charities that are actively making a difference in the lives of those who sacrifice so much for our country and our freedoms. We host our tournament annually in May with various sponsorship opportunities available including the opportunity to sponsor a soldier or veteran to play in the tournament.
