AllSouth AllStar Fareeda
Meet Fareeda, a valued member of our Loan Administration Department. While she may not seek the spotlight, her steady dedication and behind-the-scenes impact help keep things moving every day. Get to know more about Fareeda’s professional journey, evolving role, and the life she's built outside of work.
How did you get your start at AllSouth?
My background is in title work, and I spent many years gaining experience in different areas of the field. At one point, I stepped away to pursue other interests as an entrepreneur. While I truly enjoyed the work, the long hours on my feet eventually took a toll, and I decided it was time to return to an office setting. That’s when I came across the opportunity at AllSouth.
What all is involved with your job?
Generally speaking, I do all the backend work after our members purchase a vehicle. Once those keys are in hand, members aren't thinking about the stack of paperwork left behind. That's where I come in! After the car loan is funded through our Lending Department, it's then transferred to the Loan Administration Department. We process, verify, and file the legal paperwork related to vehicle ownership transfers. This paperwork includes vehicle registrations, title applications, tax documents, and lien releases in compliance with DMV regulations. These are the documents that make the sale official and the part of the process most people don't see. My job is very detailed oriented because we want to ensure everything is done correctly for our members.
How has you role changed over the past four years?
I’m always eager to learn more so I can better serve our members. Over the years, my role has grown to include more responsibility in handling total losses which can occur if the insurance company decides the vehicle is damaged beyond repair. I now manage the insurance claims process for financed vehicles that have been deemed a total loss, with a focus on recovering loan balances. As AllSouth continues to grow, I look forward to learning even more and expanding my role further.
"I enjoy working with Fareeda because I know we can rely on each other to get the job done."
-Titiana, AutoDirect Loan Processor
I’m very family-oriented. I’ve been married for 16 years, and I have five beautiful daughters and two precious granddaughters. My daughters are truly my best friends. Most of my evenings and weekends are spent with family and friends or enjoying creative hobbies like braiding hair and painting. I also love discovering new music with my teenage daughter, who always introduces me to artists and genres I probably wouldn’t find on my own.
What might people be surprised to learn about you?
People who don’t know me well are often surprised to learn that I ride motorcycles. It’s something I set aside when I became a mom, but now that my girls are older, I’m excited to pick it back up. I am even hoping to purchase a Harley Road Glide in the near future. Sunday evenings are my time to relax, reset, and enjoy a favorite treat: strawberry ice cream with wet walnuts. I’m also especially proud of the close-knit group of friends I’ve had since high school. We’ve stayed connected through all of life’s big moments, and a few years ago we even started a birthday club where we choose a new restaurant, a themed outfit, and a shared gift for each person’s celebration.
"Fareeda somehow manages to be both the coworker who gets everything done and the friend everyone wants to be around. Her energy, loyalty, and work ethic make her a huge asset to our team and an even better person outside of work."
