Introducing our November AllStar, Danielle! If you've ever contacted our Mortgage department, chances are pretty high that you've received a cheerful and warm greeting from Danielle.
Danielle began her journey with AllSouth in 2016 in our Member Answer Center (MAC). After two years, she transitioned to the Collections department as a collector before moving to the Mortgage department as a mortgage servicing specialist in 2020.
As a mortgage servicing specialist, Danielle helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. One of her primary responsibilities is quality control. She ensures that applications are accurately completed, all necessary documentation is in order, and everything complies with state and federal regulations.
Danielle enjoys the fact that each day is different. While loan closings are a daily constant, it's the calls she receives from members that keep her quite busy and present a variety of ways she is able to assist members. Danielle explained that members will contact her with questions about loan payments, escrow (the property taxes and insurance portion of their monthly loan payment), and other related topics.

Danielle's favorite aspect of working at AllSouth is the sense of community. "Everyone here feels like family," she said. "If I have questions related to something a different department handles, I can call, and everyone is always nice and helpful."
Danielle expressed that the most rewarding aspect of her job is assisting our members in achieving their goals. She enjoys guiding members through the details of their mortgages, helping them to better understand their loans.
The Mortgage department has been recognized as the Best Mortgage Bank* for seven consecutive years. Danielle credits this achievement to the helpfulness of the lenders, processors, and service specialists. She emphasized that AllSouth's dedication to servicing loans throughout the entire loan term and having a local team right here in the Midlands truly distinguishes them from others. "From the moment a member starts the loan process until it is fully paid off—and even beyond that—we're here to assist every step of the way," Danielle stated.
Danielle's passion for community service is as strong as her dedication to our members. "I love helping the community," she stated. Whenever AllSouth provides a volunteer opportunity through our Employee Volunteer Program, you can always find Danielle's name on the sign-up sheet. She recently participated in our volunteer day with Midlands Orphan Relief, saying, "I don't like to see people go without."
Originally from Maine, Danielle moved to South Carolina in 2007. She resides in Prosperity with her husband, Ellett, their two dogs, and a cat. In her free time, Danielle enjoys relaxing on her back porch, reading books, and playing with her dogs.
