Message from Our President & CEO
AllSouth President and CEO Bill Koehler shares his retirement announcement, marking the end of a remarkable chapter in our organization’s history. In his heartfelt message, Bill reflects on his years of service and expresses deep gratitude to the members, dedicated team members, and the broader community who have supported and inspired him throughout his tenure.
After 32 rewarding years serving as President and CEO of AllSouth Federal Credit Union, I have made the decision to retire effective Friday, August 14, 2026. This was not an easy decision; however, I believe the time is right. Today, our credit union is stronger than ever, serving more than 119,000 members, with over $1.5 billion in assets, and supported by an exceptional team of talented individuals who are well prepared to lead AllSouth into its next chapter of growth and success.
Over the years, AllSouth has developed a strong foundation and a clear vision for the future. With that in mind, I am pleased to share that the Board of Directors has appointed Connie Hernandez Vizitei, currently Executive Vice President, to succeed me as AllSouth's next President and CEO. Connie has been an integral part of our executive team for the past nine years and brings more than 15 years of credit union experience to this role. Her leadership, commitment to our members, and passion for our mission make her very well qualified to lead AllSouth.
As I reflect on my time at AllSouth, I am encouraged by all we have accomplished together. AllSouth has grown significantly over the years, from expanding our branch and ATM network to enhancing our digital banking capabilities and introducing new products and services that better serve our members. Through times of economic uncertainty and periods of growth, we have remained committed to doing what is best for our members and ensuring the long-term stability of the credit union.
Beyond our growth as an organization, I am especially proud of the positive impact we have made in the communities we serve. Whether through scholarships, volunteer efforts, community partnerships, or simply helping members navigate important financial decisions, our purpose has always extended beyond banking.
Thank you for your trust, loyalty, and membership. Serving this organization has been the honor of my professional career. I am grateful for the relationships, memories, and shared accomplishments of the past 32 years, and I am excited for all that lies ahead for AllSouth.
With gratitude,
Bill Koehler
AllSouth President and CEO
