At AllSouth, we are dedicated to the communities we serve and believe in working to make a difference and improving the quality of life for our neighbors. Our volunteer program was established to provide opportunities for our employees to support and give back. Our volunteer program offers paid time, specifically for volunteering, to our employees.
This year, we have decided to focus our efforts on the military, aiding with family crisis, homelessness and hunger issues. We partner with charities and non-profits in our local communities, ensuring to select areas where the need is greatest and where we can make the most significant impact. We kicked off the year with volunteering at Harvest Hope Food Bank packing and sorting food.
Harvest Hope provides food and more to people who are dealing with hunger issues throughout the Midlands, Pee Dee, and Greater Greenville areas. A team of 24 AllSouth employees dedicated a recent afternoon providing over 70 volunteer hours with Harvest Hope. Our team was able to prepare over 1,700 boxes and bags of food that will provide food for roughly 300 families for one week.
We had fun volunteering for a worthy cause. It is rewarding as a company and as a team to give back to the community. We often leave inspired and eager to do more for our neighbors.
