While Rhia hasn't served as a mortgage servicing specialist for very long, she knows what she does is meaningful to the members and takes pride in her work.   How did you get your start with AllSouth? When I started at AllSouth in 2023, I worked in our Member Answer Center where I was able to further develop my customer service skills. When the opportunity for advancement presented itself, I was excited for the chance to obtain a position in our Mortgage Department. I initially started as a loan processor and worked at our front receptionist desk, welcoming and assisting members. Learning about mortgages was new for me, but I enjoyed the challenge. A few months into processing, I realized the servicing side of mortgages fit my personality better, and I was able to make the switch to a mortgage servicing specialist.   > "Rhia is a wonderful addition to the mortgage department. I love getting to know people, so understanding why people react and respond the way they do is fascinating! It helps me relate to the people I encounter. After working in telecommunications for several years and training new employees, my background in psychology kicked into overdrive. I noticed how different personality types affected people's performance at a particular job. That led me to go back to school to pursue my master's in business management with a focus on human resources. What motivates you? I enjoy helping people! Most of my jobs have been in customer service. Working with the mortgage team, I can help members with one of their biggest purchases. I strive to provide personal, attentive care to everyone I interact with, and it's truly gratifying to assist them in reaching their goals. I am a South Carolina native, and I grew up in Ridgeway. I attended Fairfield County schools and Lander University in Greenwood, SC. After graduating, I returned home and started my master's program at Strayer University. I have a young daughter that competes in dance competitions across the state, so I guess you can call me a "dance mom." Outside work, I enjoy worshiping, traveling, and trying new restaurants. My favorite holiday is Christmas! I love the Gaylord Resorts and try to visit a different one each holiday season.
